“YuYu Hakusho” completes its “Shonen Jump” run

The American Shonen Jump issue 85 sees the end of an era. YuYu Hakusho’s final chapter will be released this January 2010 issue, reports Nebs.

YuYu Hakusho is one of the original titles that started in the US version of the popular anthology series in its first issue in Janurary 2003 (along with Dragon Ball Z, Sand Land, One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh!). It’s the second of which to end without any skipping ahead (the first being Sand Land).

To celebrate the final chapter, Shonen Jump posted on its website a feature about YuYu Hakusho that will also be finished in the Jan. 2010 issue.

Also ending in the same issue is Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The last graphic novel volume of YuYu Hakusho has yet to be released.
