Sony’s Digital Downloads: Slam Bolt Eve

This week is a meaty PlayStation Store update. The main highlighted title is PSN-exclusive Slam Bolt Scrappers, a mash-up of puzzle-building and tower destruction; if the launch trailer above still confuses you about the game, there is a demo available so you can try the game mechanics out yourself. On the old-school front, PSone hit Parasite Eve is now available for purchase before its everything-but-in-name sequel The 3rd Birthday drops at the end of the month. Similarly, Konami’s not-Contra Contra game, Hard Corps: Uprising, is finally free from being a one-month Xbox Live Arcade exclusive and bringing extra characters as DLC. PSP owners can try Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy‘s mechanics in a special three-dollar bonus chapter. There’s also three Minis out there if you want.

PlayStation Plus users can play a full-game trial of the 2008 Prince of Persia game. Everyone else can pick up some discounts on Savage Moon PSP and Eat Them! Also, if you are really curious about the game Plants Vs. Zombies but don’t want to spend $15 on the PSN-3 build, there is now a demo for it.
