“Sailor Moon” sets sail to America once again

One of the most notable franchises to come out of Japan, Sailor Moon has easily fallen by the wayside in America. Up until today, nobody actually maintained a license for anything Sailor Moon. Kodansha USA just released a statement that they’ve acquired the rights to the comic book series, alongside it’s prequel Codename: Sailor V. 14 volumes will be released bi-monthly.

No word on any return of the animation, or even a release of the live-action series, has been mentioned.
