“Kamen Rider” and “Super Sentai” team-up in theaters
So, for the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider, we’re getting a movie starring Den-O, OOOs, and Rider-1. For the 35th anniversary of Super Sentai, we’re getting Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger, a series with pirates heroes pirating the abilities of previous Sentai.
That’s not all, apparently. According to ANN’s research, Super Sentai 35th Anniversary Project will star all 199 Sentai heroes, alongside every mecha (“Megazords” in America). This month, Tensou Sentai Goseiger VS. Shinkenger: Epic On The Silver Screen will both team-up the titular teams alongside a cameo from the Goukaigers.
While Kamen Rider OOO is no real celebration of the series (instead, being a traditional series), the aforementioned April movie will team him up with previous heroes.
On August 6th, Japan will explode. Super Sentai and Kamen Rider will team up in Kamen Rider OOO/Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger The Movie. No word if this’ll be a true team-up movie (or just two individual movies double-billed as in previous years).
