A huge mess of deals have arrived on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Xbox Live leads this week with a whole mess of deals. First, there’s the Microsoft Games Studios sale happening this week, where games and add-ons for Microsoft-published games – from owned properties like Halo and Perfect Dark to indie titles like Toy Soldiers and Splosion Man to games like Snoopy Flying Ace and Magic: The Gathering – are temporary reduced in price. It is highlighted by a one-day-only sales blitz where Monday Night Combat, Trials HD, LIMBO, Castle Crashers, and Shadow Complex are 50% off. The Deal of the Week highlights some of Capcom’s XBLA darlings. And, some games were reduced in price, including Puzzle Quest 2.

Over on PSN, you got the standard PlayStation Plus update; Assassin’s Creed gets a full-game trial and this week’s PSN-3 games are on sale. For those lacking Plus, you only got Worms 2 and Final Fight on sale this week.
