New “Flash” ongoing is Barry Allen, Wally West; DiDio takes over Outsiders

Well, honestly, we’re not sure if both heroes will share The Flash moniker (making it three Flashes and one Kid Flash at the moment), or if a new identity will be out there.

Geoff Johns will be leaving Adventure Comics, alongside Francis Manapul, in which former President Paul Levitz will be taking over writing duties, which will sideline star Conner Kent from the book.

As Geoff Johns states that “It’s all Flash and Green Lantern for the forseeable future.” He will be returning to helm an episode of Smallville featuring the Justice Society, and is producing the upcoming The Flash movie.

Additionally, out of the Long Beach Comic Con, DC’s blog The Source reports that Dan DiDio and Philip Tan will be taking over The Outsiders.
