Shinji Aramaki is coming to Anime Weekend Atlanta
Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) recently announced the list of industry guests for this year’s convention, which will be held September 17-19 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. The most notable guest this year is director Shinji Aramaki. Aramaki’s most notable works have been the original Bubblegum Crisis OVA series (screenplay, mechanical design, and production design), the two CG Appleseed movies (director), and Halo Legends (director of “The Package” and creative supervisor). He also did various design work for Mospeada, Soul Eater, Digimon Tamers, s-CRY-ed, and the first Fullmetal Alchemist series.
In addition to Aramaki, AWA will also host voice actors Vic Mignogna, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham (Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood); voice actor/director Michael Sinterniklaas (The Venture Bros., recording studio NYAV Post); and others. gaijINside will also be there.
