Steve Rogers turned his back on his country when it came to the Superhuman Registration Act. As we all know, the terrorist Captain America was assassinated on his way to the court house.
It turns out it only takes nine issues for a new Captain America to rise. Is this one pro-government, or just Bucky Barnes in a new suit? Marvel’s not saying, other than “Steve Rogers is dead” and how this is not a crossover with the “Avengers/Invaders” upcoming story line.
This cover better come holofoil, embossed, and all other sorts of ’90s awesome. Part of me expects that, thanks to Marvel’s recent “zombie craze”, that it really is a dead Steve Rogers in that suit. Zombie Cap would be well worth this whole storyline.
