Sure, we’ll skip the completely nonsensical name, as the game has nothing to do with space, death, or beef. To the best of our knowledge, the game’s set in the stratosphere with unmanned fighter crafts, no beef inherent. As it stands, the title stands out, the gameplay doesn’t, but as a free shoot-em-up available on the AppStore for iPhone and iPod Touch, you can’t go too wrong.

Welcome to the introductory segment of gaijINdebt. Scouring the Interwebs (What? Spider-Man said it) for the best deals, hoping to save you cash. I won’t point out any good deals if I wouldn’t buy them myself, so the sites are reputable at least. Show me a respectable nerd who doesn’t have crippling amounts of debt.
EDITED- Updated to add The Simpsons and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Ever since the NXE hit Xbox Live back on November 18th, we’ve all been able to customize an avatar that other players will be able to see on their friends list and currently on choice Xbox Live arcade games. When it launched you were able to choose from a very selected base of clothing, which means I ran into a lot of avatars that looked strikingly similar to me. A couple of weeks ago Microsoft added Ski Jackets that went with the theme of winter. Too bad that it was a world wide release, meaning that some Austrailians were wondering what they were doing with Winter clothing in their line up.
Now, a new update has come along for the Men of the NXE. Suits. A Tuxedo and powder blue suit. Really? A powder blue suit? I’m still wondering when they are going to add clothing that I actually like.

Much like a Walmart* on Black Friday (too soon?), Club Nintendo has opened it’s doors in America, but the doors are on busted hinges. If you had a My Nintendo account, it doesn’t take too much to transfer information. Take a few quizzes, say you’re gonna buy some stuff, and register games for Coins (I’m aiming for Game & Watch, myself)… when the site.
I’d bank on it being every self-respecting nerd registering at the site all at once, but that’d be just me.

PlayStation Home’s Open Beta just started. The client took no time at all to download.
… of course, if I could get past this C-931 error, I’d be able to tell you more about it. Seems that everyone’s tackling the servers.
Full review coming at some point.

Sony’s Second Life, I mean, Home for Playstation 3, appears to actually meet some semblance of a schedule (hey, just like this site every few months). Sony said it’d be out by the end of the year, and here it is coming out tomorrow, according to Kotaku and their ability to get press releases I haven’t gotten signed up for yet.
It’s lucky that I cleared up some wasted space on my PS3 yesterday; I have a feeling this could take decent space.

I’ve only recently bought a 360, and with good timing. Mirror’s Edge came out within the last month, and I have been playing it to no end since I received it. The game flows really well, and you wouldn’t think that there could be anything wrong with it. After countless hours of play, there is one small glitch that I keep running into. It’s not gamestopping at all, (Though, I have run into areas of the game where when you press the button, the gate didn’t open, having to exit out and re-enter the game) They’re quite fun to run into. The glitch that I keep running into is when you melee disarm a P.K. or any other unit from their side. If they are standing directly next to a building when you do this disarm, throwing them towards the building, an interesting thing happens. They simply glitch into the wall and get stuck there, flailing about wildly with no hopes of ever escaping the confines of the wall. After it happening enough times, I decided to record the aftermath of said glitch, click on to see the clip.

I check out the new Niko Niko store at Town Center Mall in Georgia, only to be treated with this unique (cough bootleg cough) item. It says Final Fantasy XIII, shows off Final Fantasy VII, and the copyright on the back? Cartoon Network and Production I.G.’s IGPX.
Why they have to sully the name of IGPX with Final Fantasy VII and XIII, I’ll never know.

Looks like Nintendo is in the holiday spirit, or Charles Martinet is bored again, because Nintendo is offering up the voice of Mario to tell your family and friends what you want for whatever holiday you enjoy. Pick a DS color, pick out three games, and it’ll have Mario either email or call your target.
And no, you can’t get Mario to tell them that you want Microsoft Points or iTunes gift cards or LittleBigPlanet.

GOG.com, the DRM-free classic game catalog, has now entered public beta. As games range from $5.99 to $9.99, they’re roughly the price of XBox Live Arcade or Virtual Console titles.
I haven’t had a chance to download any (due to my temporary lack of Windows), but that Earthworm Jim two-pack looks nice. Other notable games include the Fallout series, MDK, and 1NSANE. Yeah, I’ve not heard of the last one.
The site gives a very Apple or Delicious Monster vibe, but I gotta say, if it works like promised, a site for DRM-free games is sorely needed in this day and age. Get some more content providers and we’ll see what happens.
At least do yourself a favor and do not download Earthworm Jim 3D.
