Will we be pirating “Cobra: The Space Pirate” in US theaters in 2013?

Cobra: The Space Pirate is somewhat enjoying a renaissance, with DTVs and an animated series in recent years. It looks like, according to Coming Soon and Premiere, Alexandre Aja has put together this poster to garner interest in his next project, an adaptation of Cobra. The director behind Piranha 3D and The Hills Have Eyes is hoping to have the space pirate set sail to theaters in summer 2013.
